Where can I find the official publications of the Central Bank?

Official publications of the Bank are available for consultation at the Library. In addition, to facilitate their access they are online and can be downloaded through the Digital Repository. The latest issues are available at the website.

What are the topics of the bibliographic collection of the Central Bank Library?

The Library specializes in economics and finance; however, it also has books on statistics, accounting, law, computer science, administration and numismatics.

What are the Library's opening hours for external public?

 Opening hours for external public are from tuesday to thursday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. For an expeditious service, we recommend you to indicate beforehand by email to biblioteca@bcentral.cl the reason of your visit, the date and hour in which you want to attend.   

Can high school students enter the Library?

Due to its highly specialized subject matter, we recommend high school students to contact biblioteca@bcentral.cl to determine if their request can be satisfied with the Library's material. The Bank has the website Central en Tu Vida, especially designed for students and general public, where they can find information about the Bank in non-technical language. 

How can I enter the Library, if I am a private individual?

You must show your identity card or passport, as it will be required at the entrance.  Opening hours are from tuesday to thursday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. We recommend you to contact biblioteca@bcentral.cl before coming, to make sure that the information you need is in the Library.  Remember that this portal provides access to the Library Catalog, where you can review the bibliographic material records we have. Bank's publications are available online in its Digital Repository and on its Institutional Website.

How can I request books to take home?

Exclusively through the Interlibrary Loan Agreement, provided that your institution has a current agreement with the Central Bank Library.

How can I buy a book published by the Bank?

In this portal you will find a list of the Bank's publications that are for sale. For queries you can write to publicaciones@bcentral.cl. The Bank's publications are available online in its Digital Repository and on its Website.
